Wellbeing Therapy Space has the pleasure of introducing Psychologist Helen Gailes. Helen brings with her a wealth of experience working in mental health with individuals, couples and young people (aged 12 +).

At Wellbeing Therapy Space, we find Helen to be both empathetic and direct in her approach. Helen supports therapeutic change by providing a safe environment. She is committed to working together with you and listening without judgement. She is available to help you to cope with life and relationship difficulties. Helen works with children (aged 12+) , teenagers, adults and couples. You are likely to find her to be caring, easy going and straightforward in her approach.
Highly qualified, ethical and board registered (APS and AHPRA) psychologist with over 15 years experience working with depression, anxiety, PTSD, eating disorders, sleep, grief and loss, personality disorder, trauma, stress and work-related issues. Uses a client centred straight talking approach with techniques such as cognitive behavioural therapy, motivational interviewing, conflict resolution, ACT, mindfulness and solution-focused therapy.
Happy to work with teenagers, adults, and couples. Helen has experience working with not for profit, government and for-profit sectors. She is also currently, a MAPS and APS approved supervisor of provisional psychologists.
